早年金门人大量离乡前往南洋寻求工作机会,仅凭着一封封代写的家书寄给记忆里逐渐模糊的亲人们。于是我以信使的身份,重新踏上这条家族跨岛迁移的移民路径,透过实地拍摄纪录、信件文本、口述记忆等经验,构筑出属于金门出洋客的生命故事。
In earlier times, a lot of Kinmenese went to Southeast Asia in search of job opportunities, all they could do to keep in touch was to write letters to their relatives, whose images before their eyes became increasingly blurry.

传奇女导演凯洛・卢索帕洛生前,将最后一部片献给黛芬・赛丽格。这位曾在《去年在马伦巴》、《珍妮德尔曼》等钜作留下经典身影的缪斯,更是女性主义阵线上与导演并肩作战的最佳拍档。一部作品的真正完满,却是在凯洛过世后,由孙女导演接手完成。片中黛芬与凯洛的合作情境,不时和法国女性解放运动叠合呼应,犀利风趣的对话和战斗力满点的身影更让人肃然起敬。

科雅娘家远在柬埔寨,想念妈妈时,她要放下台湾的家庭,才能再见到爸爸妈妈。莎丽的爸妈已经不在,每次照着记忆里妈妈的家常菜做法,就彷彿回到妈妈在的时光。从未有过迁徙经验的导演,在国家边境里被移民官误认为另一个人,此后,「我是谁?」在她脑中挥之不去。
The director had never experienced the pain of migration. Then, she got mistaken for someone else at a foreign country’s immigration checkpoint. Ever since the incident, she have been wondering “who am I?”.
